[ti]Private[/ti]An outsider in Dathomir?

Zenon raised his hands and with it went the net, into the air, he gripped his cane by the crystal ball bringing the alchemized stick up against the assaults with Zenon's own style, a very agile method, ducking, dodging, and controlling his footwork. He had the advantage of a couple decades worth of application of his style, along with the force sense and speed he was applying into this, along with the natural speed of a Domindori. However even so, as he parried and deflected, he noted just how skilled Kaedus was. It explained why he'd done so well against Sied and the night sisters, it was brutal like the Zabrak but was much more refined and strategic. And without the appropriate offensive abilities of his weapon, as he did not currently have his sword on hand, he realized it was necessary to use the force to actually make any attacks. As his strikes would barely do any more then bump the Mandalorian. With a sudden movement the 68 year old Domindori leapt up and overhead to disengage their close range situation and brought his hand up, demonstrating the same use of Spirit Ichor his daughter had shown as he brought a thin rapier like sword into hand that seemed to glow green, not the Blade of the Dead, but a weapon of Magick nevertheless. He reentered the fight letting his cane float up and away as he closed in on the Mandalorian. This time on the offensive, rather than parrying, going to deflect the attacks off his blade, minimizing the energy used to stop them, and then jabbing quickly towards weak points in the armor. All the while counting time.


Sied watched eagerly, she knew her father and what he could do. And that if he brought it into a matter of magick, it'd be over in a moment. But he was trying to see how far the Mandalorian could go, and give him a fighting chance. Of course, he was also a Dathomirian, and was looking out for his world first. There was no rule against using magick made, and that meant she was certain if things became impossible to win physically. He'd take the other route. However, watching them fight had to bring a smile to her face, it was impressive to see someone put up such a challenge and technique for such an age, especially against someone so experienced.

Zenon's back straightened as he sensed the ship moving, he rose into the air away from Kaedus, a green force barrier surrounding him as he rose onto the air calling his cane back into his hands and turning to face the ship as it fired down on the shield. That was a very useful tactic. Zenon was extremely glad he hadn't chosen to have Sied attempt to fight the mandalorian instead, that clearly would not have gone so well, powerful though she was. Sied had not practiced as much as he had in magick and the force, preferring specific uses of her abilities that made her more an assassin. The blasters from the ship beat down up his shield as Zenon eventually raised his hands, he didn't want to destroy the ship. Clearly this man had quite a good deal with it and if he wanted to employ him, he'd rather it all be in one piece. Instead he ignited a fire powerful and burning in an attempt to melt the blaster cannons but just the blaster cannons.

In a moment however, that fire surrounded Zenon, and much of the floor, rings of fire going out and out. Just avoiding Sied and the others aboard the docking area. This was for a purpose, as Zenon would move into the fire, creating an illusion of complete invisibility for a moment, to deceive the senses, and then to appear to move through the fire as if he were the fire itself, to speak to Kaedus, a face sticking out of the fire, "Yield." he said, before starting to increase the intensity of the fire to try and force the heat to burn the Mandalorian, it didn't matter if it couldn't melt the Beskar'gam here, Kaedus no doubt had a much lower boiling point. All he needed to do was put him in enough pain to force him into submission, or cause him to pass out. Either way Zenon would consider that victory.

Sied watched as Kaedus flew into the ceiling and fell, it might have been a good move, if they were outside. A bit of an unfortunate mistake. Nevertheless, his past action still proved he was more then just a typical warrior. Zenon's fire dissipated and he stepped towards the unconscious body stroking his chin in thought, he walked over to Sied putting a hand on her shoulder gently, "You seem ok. We'll talk more about this later, I'll let you decide what to do with him." he said to her, two of the Infused stepped forwards to follow her commands as Zenon nodded towards her and began to walk away, calling orders to have the ship docked properly but restrained just in case.

The Witch would kneel down next to Kaedus in though, nodding her head for the Infused to pick up him and carry him with her where they could set things up and discuss things properly. They would go to remove the armor and weapons so he'd just have his clothes, especially after seeing the type of technology he possessed, they weren't going to risk it. Sied would go to take an inch or so off his hair, just in case, and then holding a hand over her cut on her head, the blood which had matted in some of her hair, so that when they set him down she could attempt to mark him with the Blood trail. Then to wait for him to wakeup, just outside the Proximity shield wall they'd set up.

While waiting she'd work on healing herself through the force, it was quite a feat he'd managed this day. Even if he was captured ultimately.

Sied recognized he'd awoken and came over, still out of reach beyond the Proximity shield, crossing her arms as she looked at him, "You lost the duel. So, one way or another. You serve us now." she said, her own wounds had healed up much more nicely by now but she still had thoughts about them. She hadn't really payed attention to his own wounds and hadn't realized it, as the Infused were the ones who took his armor. "Don't think of running either, you've been marked with a blood trail. Course, there's no real mark, it's just the Magick of Dathomir. So, are you willing to cooperate now? We'll let you go soon, and contact you when we need you. I just wanted to talk first." she said sitting down crosslegged on the ground and leaning back.

"How is it you can use the force but you've never gone to the Jedi or Sith or some other force order?" she asked, she was pretty sure that's where most outsiders went when they had the gift. Here, just about everyone she knew had it. But they were different.

She raised an eyebrow. Didn't lose? Even in capture he was refused to acknowledge loss. That was rather irritating to her. She didn't let her irritation show much though. And the topic was changed to price and the answer to her question. Sied, leaned her head back in thought, "Oh you'll be payed for your jobs." she answered, before addressing the first thing he'd said, "And yeah, that was a loss. You certainly didn't win or bring it to a draw."

Standing up again, and running her hands around her hair she turned off the Proximity shield gesturing for him to exit it, she clearly didn't feel threatened by him anymore. Especially without his armor on and in the middle of the Mother Silence, she paused, noticing the wound now and thinking, "I can fix that." she said tipping her head towards the injury and looking back up at his face to see his response, "Just a little bit of magick and its gone.", raising her eyebrows expectantly awaiting a response. She planned on essentially letting him go soon, with just a little bit more to say on her part.

She rolled her eyes and started walking out the door, snapping to get a passing Nightbrothers attention giving him a quick order as to where to retrieve all of the gear they'd removed and bring it to her. "Whatever, Magick's still more functional." she responded, turning and walking backwards to face him if he followed, she really didn't need to see where she was going, "Ship's already almost done. And we'll contact you when the time comes. Most importantly, there's a certain issue coming up, a war with some ancient enemy. We'll likely contact you if you aren't already involved. But sooner or later we'll need you for something, we don't have many enemies, but we have targets. Though as a note, if you come across any artifacts, or obtain a supply of kyber crystals. We'd really like to know, we'd pay a good price for that." she stated, catching another zabrak by the shoulder and ordering him to go get the Firesrpay ready for departure.

"You've got some skill and good gear, and you're young. So we expect you can be pretty useful."
