Ra'hal Lexor Nayli
Chandrila, Chandrila system; A small coastal town, Nayli;
Nayli was a small city located on the coast of Chandrila's southern sea. It was a long way away from the busy, gargantuan skyscrapers and urban metropolis that was Chandrila's capital: Hanna City. There was also a stark difference between the people that lived in these lands in comparison to their cousins in the capital. The people here did not share the same fascination or wanting needs for technology. Like most planets in the Galaxy there was, of course, technology that made their lives and the work that they did here easier. There was nothing in Nayli that could realistically be called primitive. No rakes, spades or seed dibbers were needed here when you had far more sophisticated levels of culturing the agriculture of the land. But everything here was practical, tranquil and there was no need to change, to upgrade or build more than what was necessary. Another hundred years could pass this place, and the buildings, the land and the wildlife would almost look exactly the same. Indeed, Chandrilian law prohibited change at local level for towns such as Nayli. Much to the dismay of entrepreneurs, who recognized the abundant of resources and potential which Nayli held, but was ultimately stopped from fulfilling due to the people that lived there, who opposed such operations.
Nayli was their home, and they liked it that way.
It also happened to be the hometown of Alicia Drey, an agricultural genius who had revolutionized farming techniques, and developed technologies which yielded far more crop in the past five years than Nayli had produced in the previous twenty. Nayli knew that their town, and their lands were protected by one of their own. After some convincing they had also bought into the Chandrila Group project, and the company had all made them very rich. The town was now prospering with her help, and she was much beloved for her efforts. So much so that she had created quite a stir in Hanna City, they had all heard.
When the sun was beginning to set, and the hard work of the day was done, the locals all retired to their homes, or pubs to relax, and enjoy the creature comforts that came with wealth. But Alicia was not among them. No, that night she found herself sat in meditation in the center of a farm several kilometers away from Nayli. Her Lightsaber laid in her lap. Tonight she was waiting, as she had been waiting for a few days now. Any decent bounty hunter would have been able to track her down, she felt. So, as she had done the night before, and the night before that, she had come here to wait for the unknown to come out of the darkness in order to claim their reward.
But not everything was as it seemed . . . .

Outside of the farm the sound of a Firespray 31 Assault and Patrol Class ship touched down. Anyone who knew anything about Bounty Hunters knew that there were not many of the Firesprays left. Which by nature, made it seem weary as to who was piloting the ship. The ramp opened, smoke bellowing from it out onto the rich landscape near the old farm. Nevertheless, several buttons were pressed on the right bracer of Fett, initiating the ship's weapon systems in case he was to run into anything unexpected. The H.U.D brought up Alicia Drey's picture and gave him any possible information on her. Canderous wasn't one for surprises, he liked information. Just as he was tipped off that Alicia would be here by some drunken farmers in one of the pubs. Canderous stepped onto the ramp, his T-Visor staring at the old farmhouse just as the sun cast it's last light upon him.. and the old house. There was silence, but this silence was abnormal, haunting as if it was the sound of a thousand deaths. "Welcome to the Lion's Den." Alicia Drey ,

Ra'hal Lexor, Alicia opened her eyes at the distant sound of engines flaring, and a ship landing. It was a cool, silent night in the farm, without no nearby Squalls or people to see what was about to happen here. Reaching out with the Force she felt a pair of eyes watching her. With her mind she reached out further, and could hear the soft thrum of the man's heart beating beneath his rib cage. If she wanted to focus even deeper Alicia felt that she could rupture one of the heart's many valves. The permutations to this action were numerous. She could cause the man to suffer a stroke, or a full on heart attack. She could make him rupture from within, and let him bleed to death internally. Better yet she could squeeze the pulmonary artery and stop flood from flowing to the bottom half of his body, causing kidney, liver or lung failure. It would be an agonizing, slow death for anyone.
But that was not why she had lured this one to Nayli. She had other plans for him. With her Lightsaber in her left palm Alicia activated the weapon, pressing down upon it's ignition button and flicking it's locking activator into place. A crimson beam pierced into the silent, quiet night. It sizzled and hummed in the luke warm air. In the distance between Alicia and the bounty hunter that had come to capture her she turned her gaze towards their direction. It was as if she was staring right into their eyes, despite the darkness and distance which separated them.

As Alicia had these calculations, she felt something else. The Force, it flowed through Canderous like an unending river that fell from the edge of a cliff. Fett's heat finder within the H.U.D set up locked on Alicia Drey. "She's been waiting for this moment. But so have I." Thought Canderous, the Mandalorian raised up his Mandalorian K-52 blaster rifle in sync with her target, his finger rested on the trigger like that of a patient marksmen waiting for the right time to strike at his target for the kill. Out of the blue, his jet pack came to life and he went through the air! In the same motion, his ship locked and fired down on the farm house and Alicia Drey's frame at the same time. THE BATTLE HAS BEGUN!The Mandalorian while the ship fired placed coordinated shots down on Alicia's figure, aiming for the legs primarily so that she would be too preoccupied by either his shots, or his ships and that one would hit. The Adrenaline rushed through his body like ice water, he felt alive, Canderous felt... challenged by the power of Alicia and it was something he hadn't seen yet with any other opponent. Ra'hal Lexor, The Bounty Hunter rained fire upon the Sith Lord as she stood in the open field. Explosions rocked her in the background, creating concussive waves of air that assaulted her back and made her step forward to steady herself. Black robes fluttering in the wind, as heat and fire burned behind her, more launched themselves down upon where she stood. Head bowed, body arced as she held herself firm, Alicia was engulfed in a flux of fire, brimstone and smoke. Such was the power of the hunter's assault that she momentarily disappeared behind the fog of neon orange lights, and the plumes of smoke which raised themselves into the warm, night sky. A pale pink moon shone over them, casting an eerie glow. It was memorizing to the eye. Unforgettable.
Seemingly this one hadn't read the memo. She was meant to be taken alive.
There was another sudden explosion. At it's epicenter stood the hooded visage of Alicia Drey. Using all her hate, all the power of the dark side, she released a wave of invisible energy which intercepted the volley of bolts that came from the Mandalorian's ship, and the K-52 that he wielded. The Force Wave atomized the volley of bolts, creating a maelstrom of energy that engulfed the rest of the farm. The concussive wave of energy- made up by the dark side of the Force, and Canderous' assault- caused the surrounding land to tear up. Debris, rocks and what was left of the farm's crop fell around down them as the attack ended. When the plumes of smoke subsided, and all that was left were the flames, which dotted parts of the landscape, Alicia rose to her full height. She looked over her shoulder, and saw that the farm house was gone. Her gaze turned to observe the landscape that she stood in.
She was now standing in the epicenter of a small crater. It looked like she was in the middle of a war zone. Lifting a free hand to her right shoulder, she brushed the excess debris of dirt and dust off herself. Taking a moment to inhale she felt a searing sensation in her lower abdomen. Lowering her eyes to her side she realized that there was something that had embedded herself into her left side. No doubt it had punctured her lung, and broken a rib or two. In comparison to what had just happened Alicia acknowledged that these injuries were fortunate to what could have happened. The dark side of the Force flowed through her, and she realized that it must be with her to survive such an assault. Any lesser being would have fell.
But not her. No, she still stood tall and now her eyes searched for the Mandalorian who had just tried to kill her.

As she searched for Canderous in the burning fields, the smoke bellowed high into the sky. Emotions ran high in this battle. It was clear that regardless of the bounty there for some reason was a personal goal for Canderous in every fight. Canderous was good at his job, he was aware of her need to be taken alive. But he also was realistic to himself and knew that any trained SITH LORD. Would not allow themselves to be taken in by a Mandalorian, much less anyone that was below their level of power. Canderous landed on the ground behind her, the flames beneath him died out as his feet hit the ground. Yet the fire blazed behind him unforgivably. The flames created a glow upon his beskar'gam. The armor of a Mandalorian, used for generations in wars, battles, and skirmishes alike. Known to be the last thing many saw before their planets were taken over, before they were mercilessly killed. No, Canderous didn't want to kill the Drey woman. What he did want is for his abilities to be recognized, he wasn't some low life bounty hunter in search for easy credits. He was a Mandalorian who came from a long line of the galaxies best killers. He was a boy, who had outsmarted Sith, and others alike. The emotions surged through his body as he touched down, and the force reacted to his unfocused abilities. Pieces of debris rose into the sky, all pointing at Drey without Canderous even knowing.. His rifle raised up to face her head on, finger on the trigger. But Alicia could feel something completely different, anyone fighting a Sith would have by nature a high heart rate. Thump thump thump! Thump thump thump! But Canderous? No, his heart beat slow and steady, as if he was forcing himself to remain calm in such a dangerous position he found himself in. Upon his belt she saw something else, a Lightsaber. But this wasn't no ordinary lightsaber at all. The Light side of the force resonated from this lightsaber. Yet he wasn't the owner. Who was? Why does it act like a beacon, calling for it's owner in the night. "I know you can kill me. You've been capable of it since my ship flew across your skies. Undoubtedly you're the strongest Sith I've ever raised my weapons to. But a bounty is a bounty, Siit. You're a bounty I intend on collecting one way or another."Alicia Drey ,

Ra'hal Lexor, A bead of blood escaped Alicia's lower lip. She could feel herself hemorrhaging. If she did not tend to her wounds soon she would likely die. To compensate for this she used the dark side to stem the bleeding, to control the internal hemorrhaging. It was a short term fix, only that only medical care would fix for the long term. But it would do for now. Licking the blood out of her lower lip Alicia nodded in approval to the Mandalorian. He displayed some knowledge on the dark side. Instead of drawing her out into a fair fight, or confronting her first in an attempt to persuade her to come quietly and surrender he had, instead, launched instantly into the attack. There was some truth to his words too. If Alicia had wanted too she could have used the dark side to create a Force Maelstrom, building an invisible bubble of Force energy that could absorb and use fire that Canderous had rained down upon her into an explosion that would have destroyed him, and his ship. Instead, Alicia had used the Force to merely defend herself, and survive the attack. It was by choice that they were talking now.
Removing the piece of shrapnel that was lodged into her side, Alicia discarded it and walked until she was stood only a few meters away from him. At this distance she knew that she could use her Lightsaber, or the number of abilities that she knew in order to put him down. There were small advantages that were enjoyed in fights, and Alicia knew that in an up and close battle she would win. Her opponents advantages were to shoot from afar, and wear her down. Spitting a mouthful of blood onto the floor, Alicia wiped the back of her mouth with her sleeve before replying: "I know. I can sense it. You would put me down, or die trying. But what if I were to tell you that I was the one who set the bounty on myself?"

Canderous bladed his body as she approached him. The fact that she was so uncaring made him feel weary. Why didn't she keep her distance? Why hasn't her current state stopped her and at least knocked her out of her conscious state. So many calculations ran through his head. But time, he didn't have time. He didn't have any time at all, he was constantly hunting people, hunting for money. He had gathered quite a bit of it in his short time as a hunter, and though he wasn't in a financial crisis, he knew the importance of credits in times of need. But as she spoke, his eyes widened slightly.. "She-.. She put a bounty on herself?.."Thought Canderous, he was completely confused and shocked by the words. Was she lying? He stiffened up for a moment, he refused to fall into some sort of ploy of the Sith, his father taught him better than that. But.. what if she wasn't lying? What if she was waiting for the right hunter to come along for a contract? Canderous was out of his element at this distance but by nature he enjoyed odds being against him. His weapon lowered barrel first, pointing to the ground. She was too strong to fight in such a close distance, she had the advantage. He wasn't going to do something stupid and result in losing a limb. "I'd call you crazy. But I could see why you would do that if you're particular in who you hire. You can't just give a million credits to anyone, especially in times like this." Alicia Drey,

Ra'hal Lexor, "You are right."
Alicia turned to look around. Just behind her was the remnants of a tree. She climbed it once as a child, she remembered. But now all that was left of the tree was a stump that was rooted into the air, seared and charcoal black from Canderous' assault. She turned, twirling her Lightsaber in her hand before stabbing it into the ground in front of her. When she let go the locking activator on the weapon kept it ignited, so that it hummed and fizzled in the mud. She was pleased to note that nobody had come to investigate the explosion, or what had happened here. They were far enough away from Nayli to not attract attention. Just the way that she wanted it.
Lowering herself down to sit on the tree stump Alicia relaxed her body to lean backwards on her arms to look up at the Mandalorian. "I wanted to learn what type of a man you were, and you did not disappoint. All that I need to know now is whether or not you are smart enough to realize the bigger picture here. Do you want to kill me, or do you want to work for me?"

Canderous put his weapon into it's holster. Maybe he was foolish for this, maybe he wasn't. But he trusted his gut, if he was to die due to his actions of "trusting" an opponent. So be it, his father taught him better and that was his mistake to make. Walking forward, Canderous came close enough to evade if need be, but fight if it came down to it. His hands came up to his Mandalorian helmet, pressing a variance of buttons.. Soon.. a voice was heard. The voice of a fifteen year old boy who was quite alone in such a big galaxy. "How much are you paying me, that's the question, Alicia Drey."The boy's voice was getting lower as time went on but clearly he wasn't fully transitioned into an adult vocally, it wasn't rough or anything of that nature he had some growing up to do and this was the exciting part. It also added mystery in just how far his training could go. What are the possibilities of a trained killer who is already capable of hunting Sith of high value at such a young age? Would his age create problems in the near future? Or would it perhaps be the grindstone for the sword which he was. Alicia Drey,

Ra'hal Lexor , "I will give you 15k for tonight. For passing your audition."
The pain in Alicia's left side was growing worse despite her use of the Force. The dark side was a weapon, used only to attack, destroy and maim others. It was not a power that could be used to heal, fix or prevent pain. It could only stem the effects for a little while before things got steadily worse. "I will need you to murder people for me. Discreetly. They will be strong. Powerful. Some will be Sith. Others will be Jedi. Tonight, I have no need for this service. Tonight was about whether or not you were the right person for the job. When the time comes, and I have your first targets, will be the day I make you rich. Richer than you ever have been in your life. But with all good things you first have to wait. Can you do that?"

Canderous let out a small chuckle. Why? The Mandalorian had just escorted a target to the Sith for 10 million credits. This Sith, on the verge of dying says 15 THOUSAND? Is she insane? Mad? He could kill her right now he thought.. Then again, if she is about her business, he doubted she would lie to him regarding future payments. Canderous wasn't greedy, but he enjoyed having credits on standby when he needed them. Lowering his hand from the side of his helmet, the once more robotic voice replied. "You're offering he fifteen thousand credits, when I walked someone to the Sith and was paid ten millions. I need proof that you're going to pay me as well as you're talking about. If not, there's no reason to continue this discussion. I am not afraid of any of these so called.. "strong" people. I respect strength, but I do not fear it. That's why I picked your bounty personally. One thing I assure you, Alicia Drey. I AM the right person for the job. There is nobody better than Canderous Fett, and I would be more than happy to put that to the test."Canderous watched her body language, the slightest move would be caught on his 360 degree H.U.D, he became aware of his surroundings. Waiting for her lightsaber to budge from the ground at him, or for her to suddenly leap out at him like a wild animal on Dxun. It made no difference, Canderous was ready and waiting. Alicia Drey,

Ra'hal Lexor , Alicia pouted her lips in annoyance. These simple men, and their desire for money was insignificant next to the Force. She felt it residing in him, waiting to be nurtured and taught how to control the powers that laid within. Yet, here he was, bartering for money like his life depended on it. Still, credits were not important too her. They were only a means to an end, useful in situations only like this. It was the Force that was her currency, and that of power. "Bring me into Nayli and I will give you 200k as a down payment. Barter with me again and I will kill you."

Canderous brought a hand backwards, and force pulled her lightsaber to his grip. It wasn't one which was in an aggressive manner, he meant to hold it for her until she was capable of wielding it once more. Canderous put it on his belt facing downward after taking off the lock which kept the lightsaber in ignition, this was possible due to his mother's training in lightsaber technology. Even if it was to ignite he knew that his beskar'gam would give him enough time to throw it off before it actually harmed him effectively. Pressing a button on his bracer, from his ship a bed came which was being directed by a normal service droid. "I'm sure you're capable of at least getting up onto the bed. It'll escort you into the ship, we'll fly to the location in Nayli which you give me."Canderous waiting for her to move, and if and when she did. Canderous walked behind her eyeing each and every individual movement. "Killing me would ultimately result in you being hunted by more than a group of killers. But by the best known warriors in the galaxy, plus perhaps the Emperor's best. If you're suicidal, then by all means. Make. My. Day."

Ra'hal Lexor, Alicia smirked at the Mandalorian. He displayed knowledge in the dark side. It was raw, potent, yet mired by his nature: the desire for credits. There was only so much you could do with someone who desired a fight, and the Mandalorian epitomized this way of life. There lot was to find themselves in a bar, down in the rugged ends of Tatooine or Nar Shaddaa, looking down the barrel of a sweet drink and at the prospect of the next job. She knew from her study of galactic history that they had once been better than what they were now. They had been warriors who sought to prove themselves through conquest and war. Now they were just useful tools- conduits to a better way that only she knew. As she boarded the ship she wondered what she would do with the boy once he fell into her employ. She had no doubt that was what was about to happen.
As Alicia passed Canderous she used the Force to call her Lightsaber off his belt and into her palm. Unlike the Mandalorian, however, she did not clip it onto her utility belt, but kept the curved handle of her hilt in her palm. Alicia trusted no man or woman in the galaxy. The only substance that could be comparable to such a thing would be trust in their motives, and desires. If Canderous was truly about the credits- as Alicia had gathered during their brief conversation- then it subsequently made sense that the boy would do work for her, and continue to operate under her employ so long as the money kept funneling in. But with all things considered Alicia knew that betrayal, in this game of cat and mouse, was never too far away. All it would take was someone with a better offer than hers, and it was likely Canderous would turn her over to the next best thing.
"I want you to remember this night," Alicia told Canderous, once the ship was lifting off and en-route to Nayli. "Whatever you get offered in the long run I will always pay extra. Oh, and never touch what belongs to me again." Rubbing her thumb along the curved handle of her Lightsaber hilt Alicia's eyes fell briefly to her weapon and then back up to Canderous, making it clear to him that what belonged to Alicia Drey was to never, ever be kriffed with.
