DESCRIPTION
The Sith Imperial Foundry created by the Rakata was eventually taken over by Darth Revan. It built into a massive asteroid that had been towed to Dromund Kaas for The Sith Empire's use. It consisted of at least twelve manufacturing levels, each capable of producing thousands of droids, ships, weapons, and armor at an extremely high rate of speed. It has a series of vast tunnels honeycombed the asteroid which suggested that automated mining droids were used to excavate the interior of any useful ores. The facility used a network of tractor beams to capture and break down nearby asteroids to provide new raw material for its endless mass production.
RATIONALE
Darth Vyrassu was part of a strike team sent to The Foundry to kill Revan. Vyrassu fell in love with the facility. Nearly 4,000 years later Vyrassu rediscovered the Foundry abandoned. He had it towed to Dromund Kaas over a 12 year journey and made it operational again.
