DESCRIPTION
Blackmoor Arms is a carefully watched company based on Alderaan. Anywho buy its products have to go through security and background checks and must prove citizenship and having no criminal record. It is especially careful about selling all weapons or mass sales as it is unwilling to sell to enemies of Alderaan or the Republic. Still, Blackmoor arms is seen as a useful manufacturing company for most weapons and, if you pass all the checks, can obtain a license and weapon on Alderaan.
RATIONALE
Created by Tasha Blackmoor using some money she obtained from her personal surplus from the B.E.S. Blackmoor Arms is designed to build weapons and defense items for both the military and the average civilian, originally prepared so that whenever Tasha could come up with a new weapon it could be made use of by more than just her. And in particular to allow the average individual to use something to protect themselves since Alderaan tended to be rather less equipped than other planets. Blackmoor Arms does perform contracts with the Republic and Alderaanian militaries for certain designs in order to provide them additional weapon sources and other unique weapons that Blackmoor Arms might produce but which are too dangerous for citizens use.
