As the Dark Council moved to protect the Sith Empire, they sent their Minister of War, a Sith Lord of great prestige and power, to fight one whom they believed to be one of the returned Dread Masters... Into the Dark Temple strode the Sith Lord, with a visibly charred aura of midnight black ashes floating around him. Lord Kao had been thinking about his enemy. He had heard of their prowess in the battles of the Mind, and he contemplated various ways to defeat his opponent. He could hear chanting in the distance, small words in High Sith, and longer ones comprised of a depraved ideology, one which truly foreshadowed the Dread Master who stood there. There was only one Dread Master who held enough power and knowledge to undergo this ritual with such efficiency, and that one was "Lord" Calphayus... As he neared within 20 meters of his enemy (The Dark Temple is very big after all), he began to attack. His goal was to break the concentration of Calphayus and take his soul into the everlasting darkness of himself and his swords. The Dark Council would kill him if they knew what he had planned, but if it worked, then he would be safer than he ever could be and more powerful than before. And if it didn't work, then he would die. HIs choices were therefore limited. Die or dont die. Lord Kao feared his own death greatly, so he chose the second choice. He telekinetically grabbed every box, vase, altar, bowl, knife, anything else which he could get his hands on without touching any of the knowledge stored within. He rose them all up high into the air, and then threw them all at the exact same time towards the Dread Master. He unhooked his twin lightsabers and hurled them in a boomerang-fashion, they would return to him if they didn't hit the target(Calphayus). The three giant pillars closest to the Dread Master were crushed internally and then dropped haphazardly around him. And as everything flew towards Calphayus, Kao made all the lights go out. Only the lightabers shined their bronze hues zigzaging around the room. As everything got within 8 meters of Kao's target, they began to spin creating a huge tornado within the Dark Temple itself. It was almost impossible to see anything in the room as Kao's Dark Tendrils took over and destroyed every source of light possible. Only the shadows within the darkness were visible. But one shadow was no longer where it once was... As the tornado of darkness and temple equipment reached its maximum speed and created its own barrier of sound and speed, Lord Kao jumped up and over its top, and with his twin Sith Swords brandished, dropped towards the head of the Dread Master. Each Blade shined brighter than ever before, yet the blades were still darker than midnight. As he descended with great augmented speed towards Calphayus, he yelled one word. "Mirtis!"

 Lord Kao The Dread Master Lord Calphayus watched as Kao approached. Amused by such power within one person that's a full Darth yet. Lord Calphayus watched as Lord Kao crushed the pillars to collapse in him and threw all the objects at him. A purple bubble formed around Calphayus making everything including the pillars bounce off the shield. Calphayus dodged the thrown lightsabers. Lord Kao then leaped into the air to attack but Calphayus reached out with the force to attempt to catch kao mid air, if this worked he'd throw kao into a nearby pillar. If it didn't work Calphayus would back flip away to avoid Kao then use the Darkside to summon 8 Dread Knights who wore simple black robes with phrik chest armor and had double bladed lightsabers. They would be summoned from an illusion spell out of pure black and purple energy. An illusion spell that was physical and could potentially kill Kao. |

 As he jumped down towards the purple sphere, Kao could feel himself being pulled towards one of the pillars. He locked himself into the other direction, until the forces pulling him one way and pushing him the other were too great. He could feel his (original) armor begin to crack under the pressure. It was songsteel armor, yet the friction was such that Kao seemed to be suspended in air. The Dread Master had telekinetic power, but Kao knew who was more powerful. This confidence gave him a boost of energy, and with it, he pushed straight through the telekinetic wall and hurtled towards the ground. When his feet hit the ground, light returned into the temple with a flash, where it then seemed to all buckle, and then dim. Kao was saving his energy for something big... When he looked around him, Kao saw what seemed to be eight dread knights encircling him. He let them get closer, and as soon as the first one struck, Kao let a ball of pure energy erupt from his midsection. This powerful Force Repulse was capable of shredding through much, and if it did not destroy the knights completely, then it would throw them back. As he released this energy, the room became very slightly brighter, as this ball of energy was colored a mixture of waving red and black strands of power. After this, Kao yelled to the Dread Master in an attempt to incite him and to encourage him to commence to a melee battle, of which Kao was better prepared for: "Calphayus! Come fight me like a Real Man!"
