SPECIAL FEATURES
The sword was created through alchemy and magick, and is thus almost indestructible, and incredibly sharp. It also allows it to be able to absorb force lightning, and return it when hit in more power. And able to block lightsabers and other forms of energy.
The blade is directly connected to the Planet Dathomir, allowing it to tap into the Magick and Spirit Ichor of the world and bring it to it causing a steady mist of green that dissipates or grows depending on the user.
The Resurrection blade: The blade was designed to create an army, Dathomir is well known for being able to restore the dead, and even use armies of spirits and zombies as a weapon. This blade took years to make and was of great effort for Zenon It allows the blade to absorb the souls of its victims, as well as those freely roaming that have been unable to take a new host, it then permits the user to control the bodies as a zombie horde. In fact, in general the blade helps with all forms of resurrection and essence/spirit transfer powers, allowing the user incredible control over their own spirit and abilities, and more importantly making them a commander of an undead army of barely living bodies. This is very similar to the Resurrection Chant, so long as the user maintains use of the sword, and the sword is not truly broken, it will be able to keep the zombies working.
In the hands of the thief: Zenon cursed the blade so that any who attempt to handle it shall find themselves losing their power to the weapon itself, forcing them to rely on it to maintain their abilities as it increases exponentially in sucking away their power, preventing them from using it, In the case of non-force sensitives or those sucked dry,, the blade will almost immediately begin to suck away their very life until they are gone. All this power merges into the weapon, making it stronger and stronger.
Strengths:
-Sword made through alchemy and magick grants it almost indestructibility, lightning absorption and release, can parry lightsabers, and strengthen the user. Is very sharp.
-Has access to the Spirit Ichor and Magick of Dathomir, allowing its use anywhere no matter how far from the planet.
-Its victims souls are absorbed into the weapons Soul Snares in the hilt, and allows the user to command their bodies, it can also take souls that are floating about without a body. Increases Resurrection and Essence/Spirit transfer abilities considerably. This is done using Imbedded in the hilt of the weapon
-Cursed to prevent thievery, absorbing the power of the wielder if not its creator, until they are dry, then sucking at their very soul until all is consumed. This strengthens the weapons abilities further.
Weaknesses:
-In spite of the curse, the blade can actually be used by any force sensitive until it sucks all their power from them, while this does mean it's impossibly to use it permanently as it will definitely weaken and ultimately kill any wielder but its owner, it still means that an entire army of undead is under their command for a time.
-Not for any allies: The curse cannot differentiate between friend or foe, it knows only its creator, and no one more. Allowing anyone else to use the blade will result in the same curse.
-Easily recognized. The constant spewing of Spirit Ichor, even if it dissipates or is somewhat small, means it is impossible to completely hide so long as there is an open space between it and those looking at it. While it could be hidden in an airtight sheath, or inside a ship, if they are capable of seeing and not being controlled mentally in some manner, they can tell what it is.
-Unchangeable: Unlike a lightsaber or a weapon created through Spirit Ichor alone, the Blade of the Dead cannot be altered or changed in any way now that it is created and been strengthened.
DESCRIPTION
One of Zenon’s pieces to his planned armor of Alchemy, the Blade of the Dead was a weapon he had planned for a long time. After initially perfecting his cane, he had begun long term plans on creating a full set of armor with equipment to match, to make him truly the greatest Warlock in existence, and defendor of Dathomir. Thanks to the Magick which he had spent decades learning and perfecting, he was capable of imbuing the weapon with more then just typical alchemy as he had done with his Cane, now both blessed with the ability to steal souls and command their bodies, and cursed to destroy those who stole it, the weapon has become more than just a blade. It’s power reaching and stealing from Death itself by making the user even more capable of Ressurection.
