A'den Kyr'am is the only NFU'er that has gone toe to toe with the Sith Emperor and survived?
It was over a debate during the Devastator Wars where the Emperor was going to perform a ritual to wipe out the world Devastators but A'den knew there was a chance it would wipe out the galaxy so A'den fought him to stop him. The fight ended in a mutual respect.

Kao Xusros is the only living person to have partaken in a ritual with the Sith Emperor in which he and his Emperor were the only ones doing the ritual. He did this as an Apprentice, and against all odds, managed to survive the otherwise fatal ordeal.
