SETTING INFORMATION
* Structure Name: The Sith Imperial Citadel
* Classification: Imperial Citadel
* Location: Kaas City, Dromund Kaas
* Affiliation: The Sith Empire
* Accessibility: The Imperial Citadel is in the center of the massive metropolis of Kaas City. It's entry is highly restricted to anyone outside of the Sith Order and Imperial Military, on rare occasions certain guests are invited inside. Anyone found breaking this law is too be executed or detain.
* Description: The Citadel stands at the very center of Kaas City and is probably the most iconic piece of the entire Metropolis.
Placed directly in the middle of the sprawling cityscape the Citadel is made up of 5 spires which stretch directly into the skies. The tips of each tower are topped with lightning rods and the buildings themselves seem to interconnect with one another through a series of sky-ways and bridges. Each of the Spires represents one of the five Spheres of power within the Sith Empire. Within the Spires one can find training halls, libraries, everything that fits whatever Sphere the tower belongs to.
The Imperial Citadel was designed on the outside to be Identical to Vitiate's original design with some different interior style. The Sith Emperor's Throne was still very hidden in the lower levels below ground beyond a labyrinth of hallways. Among the labyrinth was personal chambers of each Dark Council member. The main entrance hall was massive and had statues of important key Dark Lords through history.
POINTS OF INTEREST
THE GRAND HALL
The Grand Hall is the first room you enter upon entering the Citadel, it's commonly known as the Entrance hall. The room is extremely massive, very dark with ominous red lighting and spotlights from the ceiling shining down on the statues inside. The center has a very wide red carpet leading up to a set of light stairs. On top of the stairs sits a 50 meter high statue of The Sith Emperor with a Kyber crystal at his feet. Sith Alchemy was placed on the statue to make Perpetual lightning bolts shoot strike out of the Emperors hands into the Kyber Crystal.
Lining the red carpet was 12 statues, one for each of the 12 Dark Lords of the Dark Council. The statues are replaced as a Dark Council member is replaced. Along the walls behind the statues was various doors that led to various places in the citadel. Behind the Emperor's statue was a massive grand staircase that led to the Audience chambers, turbo lifts and the Sith Archives.
THE SITH ARCHIVES
The Sith Archives is 3 floors and is considered the 2nd biggest sith Library in the galaxy, (First being Ossus). The Archives stand at 10 meters each level, making it 96 meters in hight, 35 meters in length, and 40 meters wide. Each floor is identical with black mirrored marble floor, with a slightly raised black floor down the center with dim lights around it's edge. On the raised floor strip is several tables with holo-computers for downloading and reading holobooks and holo disks as well as for doing research. Red ominous lights stretched down the center of the Archives on the ceiling of each floor. Each floor had hundreds of bookshelves that had thousands of holobooks on practically every thing on the galaxy. Each ceiling above each bookcase had steel structures pointing to the ceiling with the Sith Empire's insignia in a form of a dim light below each.
THE SITH EMPEROR'S THRONE
The Imperial Throne is massive round room with only a walk way around the edges of the room. The rest was a massive endless pit. However the entrance to the chamber led to a bridge out to a platform in the center of the pit where The Sith Emperor Sat in his throne. The bridge lined on one side with Shadow Guards and the other Stood The Imperial Guard. All stood between 2 meter tall Imperial banners that lined the entire bridge. The room was very dark with red crystals, red lights and red holocrons all around the throne giving off a very dim red ominous glow. Above the throne is what looked like a massive turbine in reality it was the master server of the LEGION AI that was programmed into a majority of the Empire's fleet. In the center of the server was a massive glowing red kyber crystal. The top portion had a red round screen that one could assume was LEGION's eye. The throne chair below seemed to be floating with a red glow emitting from it, this is where the Emperor Sat.
DARK COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The Dark Council chambers was where the Dark Council conviened to discuss all matters of the Empire. The massive chamber was glowing in an ominous blue light with red lights along the wall. 12 chairs lined each side of the chamber with a very tall statue behind each chair.
LABRANYTH LOWER LEVELS
The lower levels of the Imperial Citadel which is where the Throne Room was located, was a massive maze of a Labranyth. Intertwined with the labyrinth was the Dark Council's private quarters, as well as the Imperial Guard and Imperial Shadow Guards quarters.
SECURITY
The Citadel is heavily guarded with fully automatic turrets, thousands of cameras, laser grids, the lower levels labranyth, as well as numerous members of the Imperial Military and Sith Order along side the Pureblood Consortium forces, making the Imperial Citadel the most heavily guarded building on Dromund Kaas.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Imperial Citadel Canon history
When Vyrassu rebuilt the Resurgent Sith Empire, he located it on Dromund Kaas. With Kaas City in ruins, Vyrassu had the city refurbished and rebuilt. He had the interior of the citadel gutted and rebuilt to be more form fitting for the Empire. Today the Citadel stands as the capital building of the Entire Sith Empire.
