The Lezena Imperial Settlement was once a thriving settlement, it featured a bar, apartments, a government facility, and a citadel. After the Ritual of Nathema the settlement became abandoned until 856 ABY when The Sith Empire reopened it for a laboratory facility with an imperial military HQ.

The Valley is the strongest part of the Darkside Nexus due to it being the site where the Ritual of Nathema took place. Here in the valley 5,000 mind controlled Sith died all at once.

* The planet is militarized by various sources of the Sith Empire. All have their own commanders, they help defend and protect the planet in their own way with each of their unique abilities. Outfitted with the correct weapons and armor needed for what they are designed for make them a fatal force.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Laisvas was once a dark forest and mountain world. Many imperials and Sith would use this world as outposts through out the eras of the galaxy timeline such as The Great Galactic War, the cold war, the hundred year darkness, even palpentine used the planet for military posts during the Galactic Civil War.
Darth Vyrassu used this planet to train his Dusuah Sorcerers in 235 ABY as well stationed Jen'ari Imperial troopers on the planet. Vyrassu built a massive Imperial City on the planet as a stronghold for his empire. But when Vyrassu discovered the Gulag plague was beginning to affect the galaxy, Vyrassu gathered 10 million members of his Empire members ranging from imperials and Sith. Vyrassu told them of the plague and told them he could save them with a Ritual. Vyrassu then dominated the minds of 5,000 of his strongest Sith and begun the infamous Ritual of Nathema using Sith Alchemy and his sentient android Legion. In 10 days Vyrassu had stripped the force from the planet and instantly killing all life on the planet including his 10 million empire members. He absorbed their force and life into his becoming nearly immortal.
After the the ritual was over, Vyrassu left the planet vowing to never use the ritual again as it was not his desire to eradicate all life in the galaxy, but to become nearly immortal and rule for all eternity. The planet remained unaffected by the Second Great Galactic War and the Devastator War due to the planet already having been a dead wasteland without life and the force.
The Darkside force nexus derives from the constant rituals and then the Ritual of Nathema being done on Laisvas.
In 856 ABY Vyrassu and a Scholar of his Empire Darth Destus, reopened the Imperial City facility to run experiments and genetic manipulation projects that remain classified.
