ZenonIt begun on Naboo. During the summit to discuss an impending invasion of the Dread Master, Alicia had come to know of the Dathomiri Collective led- surprisingly- by a man. During her Sith Apprenticeship Alicia had heard of the Witches of Dathomir from her Master. It was said that they had abilities that rivaled both the Jedi and the Sith. But her Master had dismissed them, explaining that if they were truly capable of reaching the extraordinary levels of both the proponents of the light and dark side then they would have expanded beyond Dathomir, beyond the cult like status that they had retained for several millennia now. Unlike her Master, however, Alicia was not so ignorant. There was some potential in the Dathomiri Collective that couldn't be afford to be dismissed, but rather acknowledged. Why else had they been invited to the Naboo summit in the first place?
First contact between her and the Collective would had to be done discreetly, and professionally. There would be no advantage to be gained by approaching the Collective as a Sith Lord, who sought mercenaries to help establish her intentions on Chandrila. But if she came to them as a mere criminal- some might say Crime Lord- then there would be an advantage to be had. Hiding in plain sight as something that you were not was a superior disguise that she had mastered over the past few years since she had returned to Chandrila, and set into motion events that were beginning to transform Chandrilese society. She had attended Naboo as a representative of Chandrila, and now she would come to Dathomir as a cunning negotiator looking to build a criminal Empire of which the Collective could become a lucrative client for.
The Zetrs 6 was a luxury transport vessel that had left the Hanna City spaceport three days ago on a transport mission along the Peremelian Trade Route. The pilot and Alicia had made an arrangement for him to bring her to the Dathomir system once he had finished his route. When the Zetrs dropped out of hyperspace above Dathomir Alicia was surprised by what she felt. The dark side of the Force was strong and powerful here. She could feel it even at this distance. "Take me down to these co-ordinates. When you are finished you can expect your payment back on Chandrila. My associates will contact you," Alicia explained to the pilot. He merely grunted, nodded and set course for the designated landing zone Zenon had provided her when they had arranged to meet.
As the transport broke atmosphere on course for the meeting site Alicia used her abilities to hide her powers before they arrived.

Zenon held in his hands the Face of Fire, looking at its eye holes in thought. It was, in a way, the crown he had created. Not as Overlord, but as the Avatar of Fire. There were none left on Dathomir who were unfamiliar with the description of the Overlord, so far as he knew. Nor his title as Avatar of Fire. But it was not a position he felt was limited to him. Many of the more religious, believed there to be a ur-spirit of fire, and that it had chosen Zenon as a sort of representative of its will. And as a result, had given him much of its power. Zenon himself neither refuted nor agreed with this reasoning. He did believe in the spirits and ur-spirits, but he also believed in the force, and that they were one and the same. And as a result of this, he could not be certain there was a spirit of fire even if there was for other things. The Domindori stood up as he heard the report of the ship incoming, he looked to one of the nearby Sisters, "We have a visitor, a business deal. One that I can hope will be profitable." he said standing up and beginning to walk towards where they had discussed for the landing. Even now the location was quite forested, but there was enough open area around it for plenty of spaceships along with the buildings. So it worked fine until they would build Dathomir City. He approached and awaited the arrival of Alicia, after having put away his mask. Alicia Drey,

ZenonThe Zetrs 6 touched down upon the beginnings of what seemed to be a settlement. After exchanging her farewells with the captain, Alicia disembarked and stepped foot onto Dathomir for the first time. Behind her transports engines kicked back into life, took off and begun making it's approach back into the planet's atmosphere. No doubt it's captain was eager to leave this murky world behind. Readjusting the collar of her top, and maintaining her concentrating on hiding her latent powers in the dark side of the Force, Alicia made slow strides through the buildings, admiring the architecture and studying the people as they went about their day to day. She felt the Force in almost all of them. Some were strong in the Force, others less so, and only a few were non-Force sensitive. She nodded in approval. Whoever this Zenon might be could prove useful to her machinations.
Alicia saw him on approach. He was here on time, as scheduled. She appreciated the candor in the man. Coming to a stop, Alicia gave a nod to Zenon and made her greetings known. "It is good to finally make your acquaintance personally. We did not have time to talk on Naboo. What are Sith like, eh?" Smiling, Alicia folded her arms across her chest and continued: "Shall we get down to business?"

The Overlord smiled and nodded as she arrived and spoke, "Certainly, come, would you like something to drink?" he asked leading her to one of the bigger structures present, somewhere they would have a location to discuss without the discomfort of others listening. Inside there would be a room, off to its own with comfortable enough sitting and a stone table. He would speak as they walked, "It's a pleasure to officially meet you as well. We've been quite interested in further activity with off worlders, well, financially speaking. Plenty of us still have some reservations as you can imagine." he added the last part with a bit of a chuckle, however, even he was among them in some regard. He didn't want to have to go off world, but it was necessary, and it had its own perks, "We have been somewhat isolationist except on an individual level for some time so you can imagine it's a bit of a tough choice for some." Should Alicia answer with a need for something to drink, Zenon would likely provide it either by forming it through the use of Spirit Ichor, or asking a Nightsister to get someone to retrieve it. Depending on the particular thing. Alicia Drey,

Zenon, "I will pass on the drink. I do not think I will be staying very long. I would prefer it if we jumped straight into business." There might come the time when Alicia would use the relationship between herself and the leader of the Dathomiri Collective for ulterior reasons, but for now she had other things in mind. In any event that there came a jump where she could use Zenon on some other capacity than the supply of well trained mercenaries then she would need a working relationship that had to be grown over years before any degree of influence could be flexed or used to her advantage. For now, though, Alicia was in need of some well trained muscle to push through her agenda on Hanna City. There were many people, businesses and contacts that required extorting, blackmailing or intimidating. This could be achieved through the mercenaries that Zenon could provide. All that was required to get them was some negotiating, of which Alicia was more than prepared for as a trained Sith Lord and Chandrilese woman, whose entire culture revolved about debate, and negotiation.
"I require well trained, highly professional people who have no qualms with extorting, intimidating or blackmailing others. There will also come the time when I will need them to kill for me. Is this going to be a problem, or do you have what I need?

Zenon shrugged as she refused the drink, "Perfectly alright." he said simply leaning both hands on his cane, over the crystal ball. He was interested in seeing just what it was that she had to say, but as always, Zenon was extremely careful. His decisions with outsiders were not taken lightly by either himself, nor any of the others on Dathomir. they knew the dangers it involved. She gave her request soon enough and Zenon, let out a bit of a hum from his throat, looking to the side in thought. His mind running through the possibilities of this action. Officially, he likely would not condone this. But also officially, clans could do almost whatever they wanted unless otherwise told or decided upon. Should they hire off individuals, it was not necessarily an official decision. But rather one of the people, if it became a problem, he would have them withdrawn. However, these were only some of the negative sides of things. He needed something...promising, to truly believe any even slightly large force would be worth hiring off. Individuals was one thing, they could remain completely anonymous. This was a bit different. The Overlord nodded slightly in thought to answer, "Perhaps, these things we can do. The Sisters, the Brothers, they are very skilled warriors, and assassins, not to mention the magick of the sisters. And they would be willing to do this, though of course, remaining loyal to Dathomir. We are quite familial here. " Zenon explained in a smooth voice, "But of course, there are other matters as well. It cannot lead back to Dathomir, we do not have many enemies, and we don't intend to make any. Their actions would be under you, not ours, until otherwise decided. But further is the price, for such a force is quite significant. We would need to know your payment, and if it is truly worth it." he added. Zenon was not experienced to manipulation as perhaps Alicia was, but what he knew was negotiation, organization, and strategy. He had united a world in his lifetime through both force and convincing. And moving into the outer worlds had taken just as much caution, if not more, as he'd used within his home. Alicia Drey,

Zenon , [OOC: Sorry for the late reply. I was busy for all of last week, and most of this.] Alicia considered Zenon's words very carefully. Credits wouldn't be an issue, but she wondered if he was trying to imply something ulterior that went beyond credits. After a moment of consideration, Alicia smiled, nodded and broke her silence: "Credits are not an issue. You would be well compensated for providing me the force I require. However, if there is something else that potentially interests you beyond credits then I could prove helpful. It depends on what you want for your mercenaries."

Zenon breathed in thoughtfully, mention beyond credits. They only took credits because other people accepted them. Truthfully they preferred more unique or special materials, "Credits are useful yes, but only to others. Metals, technology, special, materials, these all have more value to us, reduces the necessity of having to find them from others. Credits will work fine, but it simply requires more comparatively." he commented with a shrug. It wasn't too unusual of a request for a planet that primarily didn't care about credits in the slightest, "There are of course, the more rare products, crystals used for lightsabers are quite useful. Useful hunting and war animals, keeping in mind we're used to using Rancor's."He placed his hands back on his cane and awaited. Alicia Drey,

ZenonAlicia considered what Zenon said for a brief moment. She considered how she would be able to get hold of the components for Lightsaber construction. Items such as the emitter matrix, as well as materials for constructing the hilt and the other elements which made up a Lightsaber shouldn't be too difficult, but actual crystals themselves would be difficult. They were a luxury item, with most deposits known only by the Jedi Order or Sith Empire. The crystals which were housed inside Alicia's Lightsaber had taken an extraordinary effort to get hold of without the Jedi or Sith knowing. She had bought the Qixoni from a trader she had met out on Hoth, in the black markets found far away from the settlements that had been erected on the planet. As for the artificial crystal, Alicia had created itself through the ritual of bleeding the crystal of a Jedi that she had murdered during her Sith Apprenticeship. Both had been difficult to get a hold of. But perhaps there was a way for her to meet what Zenon wanted in exchange for the mercenaries that she desired. If Alicia could prove herself to be a useful contact to the Dathomiri Collective then, in turn, they would be more compliant with her requests or demands that she would later make of them.
"I know some contacts on Hoth, who work in the Black Markets there, who can arrange for some small supply of Lightsaber crystals. They are a rare and exquisite. Most systems that are known to have them are either in the control of the Jedi or the Sith. Do your people possess the knowledge on how to construct a Lightsaber?"

Dathomir magick could have an interesting effect on cyber crystals, able to even turn them into something called a Tainted Nightsister crystal. Creating a most unique blade, a perfect weapon that fit the mystique of the night sisters and darker witches of dathomir. Zenon did not personally have a lightsaber, though there was nothing stopping anyone, if they knew only how to make them. Dathomir even had access to some, but they were few, and with their growth, he did not believe would be enough. He nodded his head as she mentioned having a contact, that was good. Crystals were ever so valuable, not just for lightsabers, but for so many things. As she asked as to if they possessed knowledge on how to construct a lightsaber he had to let out a hum, "There have been some in our past who do, and perhaps we have some who do now that I am not aware of, but no, unfortunately I have yet to discover the methods involved. After all, we've always specialized in other methods. Lightsabers were a Jedi and Sith invention, one that we have yet to fully explore in spite of having so many interactions with both." he answered, of course, he knew it didn't make them any less dangerous, through use of enchanting they could make the weapons they held able to stand up to a lightsaber, and through their many magic's, that was not always even necessary, but, the knowledge on how to create them was still something that he wanted. Not for himself, he had far more powerful weapons then a mere lightsaber. But rather for others. His children perhaps, or leaders of Dathomir who wanted to experiment in the matter. The light weight of the weapon certainly fit their preference of speed. Alicia Drey,

Zenon, Biting her lower lip Alicia considered the future. It was the ability of any true Sith Lord to possess the vision and scope to see far into the future. Fabled legends stated that there had been Sith (and other Force-sensitives) who had possessed the ability to literally see into the future. The technique was known as Precognition and it tended to have an affect on the person who was granted such visions with thanks to the Force. Alicia did not possess this ability. Her eyes could not literally see what would happen in one, five or ten years into the future. But through her indomitable will she had the vision to see what she wanted and subsequently force it into reality through the power of the dark side. Sat across from the leader of the Dathomiri Collective, Alicia weighed the possibilities in either hand metaphorically. She possessed the knowledge on how to construct a Lightsaber. It was one of the latter lessons that her Master had taught her prior to succumbing to the wounds that she had inflicted upon him with the very same weapon he had taught her to create. All that she required was some flimsi, something to write with and in a few minutes she could construct a detailed schematic of Lightsaber creation that any able Force-sensitive would be able to follow.
But on the other hand she realized that if she passed this knowledge along to Zenon then it would bring some form of suspicion upon her. How could a minor crime lord from Chandrila come to know such a thing? Only the best trained Jedi or Sith would be able to produce such a detailed schematic on Lightsaber construction. As she thought it over, mulling over the possibilities, and whether or not Zenon would come to suspect her true identity Alicia decided that it would not be in her best interest to reveal herself to Zenon at this moment in time. Perhaps that moment would come in the future, but not now. Not when they had yet to form the relationship that would be necessary to conceal her identity in the event that she should reveal herself to him. With the decision in mind not to divulge herself to the Dathomirian, Alicia realized that there was a way that she could achieve her ulterior motives without jeopardizing her Order. It would come in the form of an old man that she had known since she was a little girl. A man that, if she was honest with herself, she wanted to get rid of. Perhaps this arrangement with Zenon could achieve two birds, but with one stone?
"I know the right person," Alicia said, beginning the construction of her lie. "He is the same reason why I know about Hoth. We've done business before, and I am confident that he would be eager to be involved in these negotiations. His name is Snagg, and he has similar abilities to your people. I know that he wields a Lightsaber as I have seen him use it. If I were to reach out and bring him to your world to produce what you desire then I will need you to agree to the following terms..."
Clearing her throat for a moment, Alicia licked her lips to wet them and then continued to talk. "I will act as an intermediary on your behalf when contacting Snagg, and I will negotiate terms with him to give you what you need to construct your own Lightsabers. With Snagg you should have no issues in reaching out to our contacts on Hoth, who can arrange a supply of crystals to you and your people. These supplies won't be big, but it will be a start, and perhaps going forward our two mutual organizations can make further arrangements in regards to Lightsaber construction. In exchange for this you will give me eight hundred of your finest at a discounted price, and will arrange for their travel from Dathomir to Chandrila. I will have arrangements in place to smuggle them planetside without Chandrilese customs knowing about it. Among the eight hundred that you will hire for me, you will also give me a child strong in the Force. These are my terms."

She was considering, that much he could tell, what exactly. The details of it exactly, he did not yet know. Eventually she did speak. She spoke of the man on Hoth named Snagg, who was the reason for her resource, and that there were terms in regards to it which she had apparently thought out. She wanted to be the intermediary, ok, understandable. And that this would grant them knowledge for how to construct their own lightsabers, as well as begin supplying them with crystals. Though small in number. And then she mentioned the further matters, what she wanted in return. He raised his eyebrows, Eight hundred. that was quite a significant number, and of the finest. she asked. That was more something he left to the individuals. Zenon ruled the world yes, and the Reborn Night. But he preferred to allow clans to decide on matters of hiring off. And at a discounted price she asked. This was understandable that an outsider might think this a reasonable request, but even with the population of Dathomir having grown over the centuries, that was not necessarily a small force to leave. Aside from small groups or individuals, most stayed in their clan, on their home, or joined the War clan. That big of a group leaving at once was quite abnormal. Of course, no one outside Dathomir would really be expected to know this. And then came, a much deeper snag, a child strong in the force. His eyes instantly narrowed, and a memory returned to him, he rubbed his hand over the crystal ball on his cane, in thought before he spoke. "This many individuals, is quite a challenge for us. We don't really tend to leave our homes often and even when we do, it's not in large quantities. That's part of why we make the droids, they allow most of us to remain on Dathomir. It's possible that eight hundred could be convinced, but you're going to need to be a little more precise on which ones. The males would be much easier to convince then the women, and of course, there are very few better melee fighters around. But the women might be a little harder to convince. Fortunately for you, you are indeed a woman, so that at least will make it easier for them to accept. But still, leaving Dathomir is not a petty thing to us. I will see what I can do, but it's important you consider the difference between the males and the females here." He said, but then, began to twirl a hand around the crystal ball, seeking deep into the past, seeking, over nine hundred years ago, revealing an individual of great influence on Zenon's life and the Reborn Night, mother Talzin, "The bigger issue, is the last request. You see, there has been an instant like that before, a long time ago. You might say there have been at least two, that I have knowledge of at the moment. Mother Talzin, a great influence on my own abilities and the very cane I hold, had a child strong in the force stolen from her. That child was raised by a Sith. And yet again, at a later date, a sith requested to have a student in the force, or apprentice as they call it. And one was given." He leaned forwards the images on the cane vanishing as he pressed against it eyeing the woman, "Now then, for what purpose would you use this child. And the age that you actually request. Because regardless of if I can trust you, I will not be tearing any babies from their mothers." he said. His voice was calm, he didn't know yet exactly what she was. Whether she wanted to train the child, use it, or experiment on it, the request was highly suspect to him. It was not necessarily that he thought her a Sith Lord, but that she was either close enough, or was an errand runner for one. Or, a possibly worse conclusion, one willing to experiment on a child to learn more on the force and it's aspects. Regardless, Zenon's awareness was at it's peak now. Alicia Drey,

Zenon, Despite the dark side of the Force being so prevalent and strong on Dathomir it seemed that the man sat across from her lacked some knowledge on it. He had morals, and a convoluted code of honour, it seemed. Despite living in a society which commonly enslaved males into subservience to other women, here sat Zenon- leader of the Dathomiri Collective- hesitating, and even outright denying the possibility of one mere child being taken away from their Mother. Alicia couldn't blame him for his flaws. He was not Sith, so he lacked in the knowledge about the dark side. If their roles were reversed Alicia would have used the fact that her buyer had revealed their hand. But Zenon hadn't capitalized on that. It was disappointing.
"I've seen first hand what it is like to have a Force-sensitive beside you during business. To have someone beside you who knows when someone is lying to you is advantageous. I know that anyone who has the ability to use the Force can also read the minds of others, and can even use the Force to coerce or convince others into doing things for you that they otherwise wouldn't normally do. For a woman in my position these are advantageous things. It can become so tiring to use the usual means of buying someone out, or threatening others when everything else fails. It tends to make things messy. But there is an eloquence to someone who knows the Force, who can trusted into doing things on your behalf."
"As for convincing these clans to join me in my escapades I am confident that we can find a suitable arrangement. How about this? In exchange for my services and setting things up with Snagg we can set up a year long contract. At the end of the 12 month period they can choose to either return home or continue their work on my behalf. This would be a mutually exclusive arrangement, and it sounds fair to me. A years work, and at the end- if they desire it- they can return home by the time it is done. And if some wish to remain? Then that would be their choice. I am sure that among the mercenaries that you have in mind there are some who have the ability to use the Force, who also have their own children. Most parents from anywhere across the Galaxy would kill to have the chance to live among the Chandrilese and all the benefits which come with experiencing life on Chandrila. It would be a good thing for any boy or girl, and of course, their parents can have full say in what happens going forwards. I offer education, and the chance to work with some of the best people in the Bormea sector."

He kept his eyes trained on her as she spoke about having a force sensitive beside one. There was of course, an issue with it. It was true they could learn such abilities, but unless taught, most would never truly be able to gain more then a superior intuition. Except the truly rare. She then backed onto the matter of the others, he would respond to it, but his focus was elsewhere. The reason for refusal to release a child, was for the sake of the mother. Zenon did cross lines, many of them. He'd killed his own kin to force them to join him, he'd even burned the eyes of one of his daughters when she attacked him. But there was still tradition in him, that he did not like crossing. Ultimately, most of what the clans did, the individuals, was up to them. He had to grit his teeth, he knew though, his son Garish wouldn't care. He was all for forcing everyone to obey, mostly because he wanted them all to follow the Fanged God. The child was mad, well, child was an exaggeration. He was fifty, but he'd always been that way. "Perhaps, it's ultimately up to the individuals either way. Of course they would always be welcomed back and likely many would remain in contact with us. We're rather close, which is why leaving for more then just an assassination job is a bit of an effort. And yes, almost all of us are force sensitive, all the women are, and the men though they rarely learn or have as much power. As for education, you must keep in mind, until recently, we didn't care in the slightest about technology or anything beyond what we already had. We like the old ways, I just happened to be one to believe it best to explore beyond. Still, I shall see what I can do. I would forewarn, their choices are their own, if they leave, that is their choice. And their children may not necessarily be as powerful as their parents, Dathomir has a unique effect on the force, something few others do." he answered, but his attention went back to the child very quickly, "Then get some Zeltron, they can sense emotions and cause them. But unless taught how, force sensitives don't just get these abilities to emerge from nowhere. Intuition yes, but otherwise, very little." Even with his resistance to the concept, an idea formed in his mind which he kept hidden, blood marking and voodoo, such useful techniques. No necessary visual connection, they could follow the child wherever they went, and if absolutely necessary, bring them to their knees. He leaned back, still with narrowed eyes, "I can...consider it. Find an unwanted child or uncaring mother, there aren't many I've met. But perhaps there is one. But, this would require something extra in return. A sign of your agreement for such an important matter, to sign in your blood, which we shall seal with a lock of your hair. Blood for blood. A deal made with more then just a shake of the hand or transaction of money." he responded. Alicia Drey,

Zenon , "I agree to your terms. I will participate in your cultural exchange. Make your arrangements and I will make mine. I will leave now and contact Snagg. The last time we spoke he was somewhere in the Bormea sector, so he should be here just shy of a week. That should be plenty of time to reach out to the clans, explain my proposition and find suitable candidates for my latter request. I will make sure that he brings with him a selection of crystals for you to test." Rising up to her feet, Alicia bowed her head respectfully to Zenon. In the inside she was laughing. It was taking all her discipline to stifle herself from grinning. "If there isn't anything else for us to speak of and arrange then I will leave."
Turning away from the elder man, Alicia ducked beneath the tarp and stepped back outside for the first time in hours. Negotiating with Zenon was one of the longest she had endured, but in the end she had got what she wanted. She had also learned a lot about the Dathomiri. This will prove useful later down the line, she thought to herself as she made her way down the road. Her first priority was to find somewhere to stay before contacting her Ithorian servant. It was important that they both got the details correct before he came to Dathomir...
