ADVANCED SYSTEMS
Full armoring: Reinforced Duraplast and durasteel heavy armoring covers the entire ship and wings but especially the hull and weapons. This makes the ship quite difficult to destroy even if it means it’s powerful engines aren’t able to keep it as fast as some others, particularly in atmospheric conditions. This armor even covers over most viewports, with exception of one in the front which can be covered over and sealed from the inside just in case.
Sensors: On the hull and wings of the ship are many sensors that use primarily simple cameras protected by transpiristeel and armoring, but some of which use infrared technology in case of situations where cameras may not suffice.

EMP/ION resistant: Much thanks to the considerable Duraplast armoring, the Cuaee’s are extremely resistant to EMP/Ion technology, which is extremely important due to the lack of viewports.
Strengths:
*A tank in the sky: The Cuaae are both very well armored, and very well armed. Their armor is enough to let them handle a lot of attacks headed their way, that is if it got past the shields which furthered defense against any physical weaponry considerably, as almost nothing made of matter can get through it without simply being shredded to pieces or thrown aside. But one of their bigger uses was their considerable attacking power, the combination of REEM launchers, laser cannons, Swarm guided Concussive missiles, and even four Warpods, meant they made dangerous opponents to both large and smaller craft. Making for an excellent weapon for going after the opponents that are too big for the interceptors weaponry, by using its missile systems and powerful Electromagnetic Plasma Cannon to take on heavier armor.
*Wings: The wings offer more maneuverability and weapons. Though technically not necessary for the Cuaee to function, as the Hull itself is where most of the engines and systems lie. The wings have additional thrusters on the sides which allow the Cuaee to shift directions slightly more quickly then Gunships of a similar size.
*Heavy engines: Though the Cuaee is not any faster than equivalent gunships, the heavy engines do provide it the ability to keep up that using engines like the LAAT had would simply not have sufficed.
*Very resistant to EMP/ION attacks.
*Infrared and cameras sensors spread across the ship is a vital part of its function, lacking most viewports.
Weaknesses:
*Energy limitations: Because of the considerable energy that the combination of Ray and Reflection Emitter shielding uses in combination. It is generally seen as unwise to use them constantly during battle, as they also reduce the power and speed of the laser cannons and reduce time of functions. As a result they should only be employed when actively expecting attacks. Sometimes only one may be used at a time, which can also result in weakness to what the other shielding does not provide.
*Lack of viewports: Though the cameras may substitute this, the lack of viewports but one means if the Cuaee lost it’s cameras it would have very little to go off of. Additionally if it were extremely low on power or there was malfunctioning systems, the viewports small size would still be troublesome.
*limited space: The engines and systems of the ship means it actually has rather little space. Occupants have little room to move around and it only fits a total of five people, three crew members and two passengers.

Designed to be a powerful offensive weapon, the Cuaae was made by Gorum Erad as a product for the Galactic Republic inspired by the “feel” they had in the past for heavily armored and heavily armed fighters. The Cuaae gunship is meant to be more akin to an extremely armed and armored fighter then a gunship in spite of its classification, if it’s smaller size of the hull did not tip one off. The only thing truly large about it is the wings, which mostly only serve to hold additional weaponry, and make the ship more capable of altering its movements by additional thrusters. It makes an excellent weapon against more heavily armored targets thanks to its considerable weaponry and how it can take more damage, but isn’t as incredibly slow as some ships due to the size of it’s engines.
Though it was designed by Gorum Erad and Future Nation does supply a portion of the Republic’s imports. They also got assistance from Kuat Drive Yards, Corellia Engineering Corporation, and some chosen companies who are trusted with the designs/storage/creation.
