SETTING INFORMATION
* Structure Name: The Dark Temple
* Classification: Darkside Temple
* Location: Dromund Kaas
* Affiliation: The Sith Empire
* Accessibility: The temple is located in the Dark Temple Pass, a valley that was located west of Kaas City. The temple at one point was accessible, but no longer is that way being able to only open through a ritual. The ritual sealed the temple only allowing access to the Sith Emperor.
* Description: The main section of the Temple is a massive rectangular hall that was built into the back of the mountains, and the Dark Temple was constructed entirely from dark gray and Hijarna stone. A tall obelisk risen along the exterior of the Temple above the arch that frame entrance, and the ornate pillar had a carving of an all-seeing eye that represented the Sith Emperor on top of it.
The slanted sides of the exterior and roof of the Temple also featured horn-like pillars. The Temple itself built deep into the surrounding mountains. The hill upon which the Temple sat featured a grand processional approach, which was formed by a number of ancient staircases, walls, and statues, and a large courtyard was paved in stone ahead of the Temple's entrance. The central path to the Temple's entrance was lined by numerous statues, the heads were bowed, and the sections of the courtyard to either side of the central walk were over a meter higher than the middle pathway. These sections of the courtyard featured additional structures, once all in ruins was rebuilt to look new.
POINTS OF INTEREST
CENTRAL CHAMBER
The chamber was lined by two hallways, and the center of the room included numerous statues that stood with their heads bowed against the middle two of the four sets of support pillars in the hall. Buttresses connected the pillars to the second level of the Temple, and the buttresses themselves are supported by the two sets of outer pillars. At the northern end of the hall, the end farthest from the entrance, stood a Massively tall statue of a Sith pureblood who gazed up at the ceiling with its arms extended outwards from its sides.
Four passage ways branched off of each side of the hallways that lined the Temple's main chamber, though the middle doorway on the eastern side led to a spiral staircase that ascended to the Temple mezzanine, or second floor balcony. The northwestern passage leads to the tunnels beneath the Temple, in which the Sith Empire constructed a series of platforms and machinery in order to maintain the power conduits that are underneath the Temple. The passageway directly south of the one to the access tunnels led to the Dark Temple's reliquary, where the Sith Emperor stored many powerful relics and artifacts, a room that was sealed off to all but the Sith Emperor himself. The entire temple is lit up with an ominous green glow by green crystals hanging from the ceiling by chains.
THE RELIQUARY
The Reliquary is the Emperor's private relic chamber, inside the chamber is massive lined with obelisks, and statues. There's a well alters everywhere with relics and artifacts that the Sith Emperor has created or collected. The chamber is lit up like the rest of the temple, green crystals suspended from the ceiling by chains. The room is sealed off by a ritual to all with the exception of the Sith Emperor.
THE INNER CHAMBER
The Inner chamber also known as the Sith Emperor's Dark Temple throne room was a Massively wide chamber built into the mountain. It was lit up by an ominous blue glow from blue flame torches near the Emperor's throne, the entire chamber was only dimly lit making it dark. The ceiling had pointed spires hanging from them, just as it did 6,000 years ago. The throne was set up on a massive stage like loft with a massive stair case leading up to it lined with golden stone torches with blue flames. At the top of the stage is the throne with a massive Sith Empire banner behind it and red lights glowing behind it.

The Dark Temple is guarded by the Imperial Guard and the Imperial Shadow Guards, they keep the Sith Emperor and the Dark Temple safe from all outsiders.

The Dark Temple once crumbled by Vitiate during the cold war. In 235 ABY Vyrassu had the Dark Temple restructured and rebuilt exactly as it's original design. Vyrassu used it as the same purpose as Vitiate. A place to conduct rituals, trap spirits and bury his enemies. The place is filled with a massive Darkside Nexus that would drive most people insane and corrupt lightsiders.
