If you’re on Alderaan, there’s always someone who can tell you where the Blackmoor School for Force sensitives is located. It is on any map of the place and is not even remotely hidden. It is free to enter, however places like the library, training area, and other learning or practice facilities are excluded except for the fee, or students who are also under employ at the school. It is in fact guarded by law enforcement to a degree, and there are many cameras around the school watched by security. Boarding, meeting rooms, and other official locations for residents or staff, are also sealed off.
* Description:
The Blackmoor School for Force Sensitives, most well known as Blackmoor Temple, is a stunning location to look at. With structures of white and light grey, decorated in gold and silver, the Temple resembles a small city on it’s own. With many buildings surrounding the school which function as boarding or for individual practice or purposes, and a large domed canopy above which works both as an observatory and possesses a shield generator. The whole location overlooks a waterfall that flows out from beside the edge of the canopy. A beautiful setting from looking out or in. There are many statues showing historical and cultural pieces of Alderaan or the Republic.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The Arena:
A colosseum like area, stands circling a stage in the center, the area around which is empty and goes several stories down which can be filled with water or used to add pieces for a change of terrain. The whole thing can be covered by a mechanical canopy protecting it from rain or storms. The Center stage is where fights, challenges, duels, or even just performances, can take place. It’s sometimes host to contests, ceremonies, and has even been the host for various sports and plays.
Training areas:
The “Temple” itself is actually just one of many training areas, but as the first, appears the most significant. It is a main building that rises into the sky with two large spires beside it doing the same. They are actually buildings in themselves, challenges for technopaths to figure out how to get to the top by manipulating the machinery within. Underneath all of this is a more open area for field training that has a ground which uses mechanical flooring, which allows it to manipulate the terrain to better teach their students.
The Library: A vast location of historical, technological, martial arts, and force techniques, all are kept on local hard drives, generally with backups kept offline underneath. There are some physical books, though most of those are donated. The library allows students, or paying individuals, to research on site or rent copies on the many subjects.
The City:
There are many houses and buildings around the actual temple, most of which are formed by
Businesses, which also allowed a path in for families and others. Resulting in an almost full blown city of it’s own, all built on private property that was granted so long as a sort of rent was paid and the rules were obeyed. This additionally allowed them to gain easier access to the local library and facilities, so that even non force sensitives were able to obtain some knowledge if they paid for it.

Weaknesses:
Aside from specific locations like the Library, Important Training locations, and official locations such as security or offices, guests are essentially given free reign to move around and are only observed. Meaning essentially anyone can enter without being stopped so long as they weren't clearly a threat or show up on criminal databases.
The defensive shield is generally off, as this is a school and not really a military base so it's rarely a target. It's only turned on when danger is actually recognized.
While sturdy, none of the buildings are truly armored, except the inside of training facilities.
Even though there are Battle Guards who are trained here, this is not a military base. It doesn't possess the same numbers, equipment, or defensive systems as one would.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Formed by Tasha Blackmoor with the assistance of her parents, the School for Force Sensitives is a Blackmoor Education and Skills school, and one of the most well known. Though originally somewhat small, the school’s income as a result of pulling in so many force sensitives young and old, made it grow exponentially even with families and other businesses forming buildings near it on granted property, though required to follow with certain rules as it was indeed private property. The School was most well known for being the origin of the Battle Guard, a group of force sensitives trained in the Way of the Yaka that up-took the path of a specialized soldier whether in Alderaan’s military or the Republic’s.
