The Galactic Republic invites you to join or create characters for it. We have many positions open still with over 40 planets, which means Senator and high planetary positions are in abundance at the moment. You would also be permitted to make your own planet or moon if you wanted to.
Though currently Getran Kross is the Supreme Commander (currently taking place of Supreme Chancellor) the position of Vice Chair is entirely open. The position of Supreme Commander/Chancellor may be given to another after a time, as Getran is only currently in the position due to his hand in creating the Republic and pushing it forwards, and doesn't actually wish to retain the role.
There are many possible positions that can be taken to be Commanders, Generals, leaders of special Forces, etc.
Tasha Blackmoor for instance was made to have an exploratory and support force from Alderaan.
So whether you want a direct combat role, a distant strategist, or a political one, feel free to speak up and get in contact with me.
